I bought this saw for cutting holes for a bean bag toss game (known as Cornhole in the Ohio area). This is a very high quality product and the saw is very agressive in terms of being able to chew through wood. If you are going to be drilling by hand though, you may want to use a saw with more teeth that will go smoother, this one can be hard to control with a hand drill, I've got a cut across the front of one of my T-shirts to prove it.
Also of note, you will need to purchase a mandrel bit seperately to use the saw, there is not one included.
Overall I would recommend the saw, but warn people to use a variable speed drill at a low speed if you are going to be drilling by hand.
